This passivhaus certified Touchwood Homes building is set in a residential street in Bromley and was designed to look in keeping with the other houses on the street, rather than be a radical modern design, but also to meet the passivhaus criteria.

This was easily accomplished with extremely low air test results (substantially lower than the 0.6 maximum) which means that nominal heat is lost from the building (vs 0.6) – a further validation of our external air-tight layer solution which is provided by means of a rigid TG board over the entire external skin,  rather than the less efficient and more traditional membrane and tape approach.
